Damascus securities exchange website was hacked, where irrelevant sentence was being shown with different format in the news list causing the sentence to be published in the main page of the website, this issue was solved and the sentence was deleted.
DSE would like to announce that all the data exist in the website are totally safe and correct, and the DSE team is working constantly to develop procedures to ensure information security. |

| A Clarification regarding the number of listed companies in Damascus Securities Exchange. |

The Chief Executive Officer of the DSE Dr. Mohamad Al Jleilati announced that the number of listed companies has reached 16 companies , bringing into notice that 3 companies have been given a conditional approval in a condition that those companies would fulfill the required documents during a month from the date of the conditional approval was issued , these companies are :
1. Syria Gulf Bank has attained the conditional approval on the 16th of June 2010.
2. Bank Al Sharq has attained the conditional approval on the 22nd of June 2010.
3. Al Aqeelah Takaful Insurance has attained the conditional approval on the 8th of July 2010.
We hope that these companies would fulfill the required documents along with the Shareholders Register so that the final approval is granted. With this the number of listed companies in the DSE becomes 19. |
